Didi's Cafe and Bakery sits quietly along Jalan Wangsa Delima 5 in Wangsa Maju, carving out a niche for those who appreciate thoughtfully crafted pastries paired with quality coffee and matcha drinks. This spot leans into a relaxed café vibe with a cosy, welcoming atmosphere that feels just right whether you’re meeting friends or settling in to get some work done. The interior hums with soft, calming music that complements the steady flow of locals and afternoon visitors.

What stands out here is the pastry selection, which offers a range from sweet to savory, allowing for flexible snacking or light meals. Items like the Masak Lemak Ciabatta — a spicy shredded chicken filling in crusty bread — and the nutty pistachio croissants showcase a playful fusion of local tastes and classic techniques. There’s also a thoughtful lineup of Danish pastries and croissants, notably the blueberry and chocolate custard variants, each carrying a delicate balance of flaky texture and rich filling. Expect something a little different from your usual café pastries, with a distinct touch that hints at local inspiration.

The beverage menu tilts toward some creative matcha-infused choices that include blends like the Banana Matcha and Lychee Matcha, offering a refreshing twist away from the typical coffee line-up. These drinks feel crafted for those who enjoy a little variety and a mild energy lift, striking a good balance between familiar local flavors and trendy café culture.

The pace here is unhurried, with staff handling a mix of brewing and order-taking, which means you might experience a slight wait during busier evenings. But this also adds to the relaxed rhythm of the place — inviting you to slow down, savor, and chat. While parking can be a pinch during peak hours, the overall neighborhood setting contributes to an accessible, everyday kind of spot rather than a weekend-only destination.

Ideal visits are during the day or early evening when the lighting complements the café’s warmth and the pastry selection is freshest. Whether you’re a local looking for a casual spot to work, a matcha enthusiast in search of something refreshing, or a pastry lover keen on trying unique flavours, Didi’s fits comfortably into the Wangsa Maju café landscape as a practical yet pleasantly distinct option.

So happy that this place opened up in Wangsa Maju. I personally find it hard to find a cafe I like in this area, but I'm so glad that Didi's didn't disappoint. Their pastry selection offers a pretty wide variety. Ranging from sweet to savoury, I think my favourite is their focaccia. Any of them that I've tried has been a treat. Their croque monsieur is also pretty good, though in my honest opinion, the price seems a little too hefty for me to repeat it again. As for their beverages, the coffee is alright. They have a pretty good choice of beans, so I'm happy to have my cup of flat white with them. But I'm really happy about the atmosphere of the place. Most cafes on this street usually have loud music, so I would have to almost shout at whoever I'm talking to just to be heard. It's not congested either, even when there's a full house. And the overall attitude of the staff is a refreshing interaction to have in this area. Glad to know I've got a neighbourhood bakery that I can count on!

Tried the choc custard pastry (RM16), croque monsieur (RM26) and pain au choc. Tasted good though a bit pricey. Ambience was lovely, w relaxing music that’s exactly my style. Service was on the slower side since staff juggle between making coffee and taking orders. The place was surprisingly packed. I went after 8pm, hence mostly pastries on the menu. Worth a try if you enjoy a cozy vibe.

This cafe carries a calming vibes, offers variety of matcha and coffees. The pastries are tasty and differs from that of other cafe. We had amazing croizza, meatball, and postachio cherry croissant. The pastries went well with our drinks of matcha and cendol latte. Must repeat, no question. Parking during working hour may be a problem.

It’s a very rare occasion where you find everything about a cafe to be perfect! I loved their butter croissant, it had the perfect dash of crunchy and softness. The ambiance gives a cosy vibe also the people running the place are very warm & welcoming. Could be my go to for getting office work done when mood calls for it!

We had a serious craving and asked for the brioche with peanut butter, banana, blueberries, and strawberries — usually served with cream on the side. We were a bit disappointed to hear it was no longer on the menu at Didi’s, but huge thanks to the lovely staff, especially Didi, who managed to convince the chef to make it for us anyway! They had to swap out some of the fruits, and they were out of cream — but honestly, it still tasted amazing. The brioche was perfectly toasted, the peanut butter rich and satisfying, and the fruit added just the right touch of freshness. Really appreciate the team at Didi’s for going the extra mile. Please bring this dish back to the menu — even with the tweaks, it was a highlight of our visit!

Was here for my tea time. We ordered mango matcha latte paired with pain au chocolates and meatball pastry (forgot the name). If you are a chocolate person, please try their pain au chocolates. So sinful and worth the calories;) Mango matcha latte was also nice ! Definitely Didi's is listed in one of my fav cafe list
